because it goes without saying that the 80’s produced some pretty rad tunes.

because the end of The Breakfast Club wouldn’t be the same without this song.

because just even the name of this band is awesome.

because those with simple minds may also have open minds and open hearts and so here’s to that.
because the first sentence of each verse of lyrics is pure genius, not to mention the rest of the lyrics.

because, I believe we should ALL be asking these questions out loud to someone.

because the songs clearly says: “Don’t you forget about me”

because, in essence…we all want to be remembered.

because this band sounds like could’ve been from the 80s.

because I love me anything with a little synthesizer in it.

because I love my SiriusXMU satellite radio for introducing me to these artists I never would’ve heard of otherwise.

because with the way I feel today, a song like this just makes me feel cool.

because this tune can make anyone feel cool. period. the end.

I REMEMBER - DEADMAU5 / KASKADE

because today, all I want to do is dance.

because this tune is the one I’d dance to if I actually went to clubs. 

because sometimes, repetitive music gets old, and sometimes it gets you going.

because music has the power to change your mood, no matter what the mood.

because some DJ named Kaskade puts out some pretty rad tunes that I quite enjoy.

because, maybe, I’ll hear this when I’m driving down the freeway and again I’ll want to dance.

because, I remember. I remember everything.

because the music reminds me to remember in the remembrance is the gift just waiting for me to give gratitude for life and joy.

because Freddie Mercury was one of my musical soulmates.

because today is September 11 and this song always makes me think of global consciousness.

because music can heal the world and bring focus to things larger than ourselves.

because this song reminds me that what we create affects others and we’d better create miracles instead of chaos.

because we must remember to care for this planet and its inhabitants as best we can.

because love is the answer to the world that we created.

because I’ve been hibernating for a while and I missed listening to music, which -shocker - I haven’t really done lately.

because when the iPod is on shuffle and a gem like this one plays, it deserves a post.

because some of the best and most talented musicians hail from the U.K. as these young lads do.

because I love the name of this band.

because I think and I know that actions speak louder than words.

because we can ALL dance through life, after all…”life is a dance”!

because, just maybe, I feel like it like getting back into the “dance” of life.

because the song is awesome and it inspires me to do so! :)
